In the quaint, industrious town of Crum Lynne, Pennsylvania, nestled within the heartland of American craftsmanship and ingenuity, one finds a community deeply rooted in tradition yet ever-evolving with modern times. Here, among the symphony of hammers and saws, lies an art as timeless as it is essential: the attaching of rails or panels to posts.

This task, seemingly mundane at first glance, is anything but ordinary. It stands as a testament to human dexterity and precision. The process begins with careful selection – choosing wood that promises strength and longevity. Each rail and panel speaks to the soul of Crum Lynne's forests; each post carries the whispers of centuries-old trees.

The craftsmen approach their work with respect akin to ritual. Measurements are taken with meticulous care; for here in Crum Lynne, there is wisdom in acknowledging that even a fraction of an inch can be the difference between perfection and disappointment. Tools are gathered—hammers poised like conductors' batons ready to orchestrate a symphony on wood.

With expert eyes and steady hands, they set about their craft. Panels are aligned with posts as if they were long-lost companions yearning for reunion. The sound of nails piercing through timber resonates—a chorus that has echoed through Crum Lynne's history since its founding days.

Yet this practice is not locked in time—it breathes and adapts. Modernity has brought forth innovations such as power drills and pneumatic nailers which have expedited processes without sacrificing quality or care—the mark of true progress.

Each completed fence stands proudly along property lines or borders gardens—sentinels crafted by human hands showcasing both function and form. They offer not just boundaries but beauty; not merely separation but stories etched into every grain.

Attaching rails or panels to posts may seem a simple act—an everyday chore for some—but in Crum Lynne, Pennsylvania it represents much more than that. It encapsulates a heritage rich with skilled labor; it displays an ongoing dialogue between past practices and present advancements; it reflects a community's commitment to preserving what works while embracing what’s new.

Thus unfolds another page in Crum Lynne's narrative—a tale written not merely on paper but constructed on landscapes where rails meet posts under watchful Pennsylvanian skies.

We cannot say enough concerning Philz Landscape. One call and I connected with Pat. He met with us for a project which entailed removal of a partial cinder block porch with iron poles and remodeled an entire porch. We are pleased with the work performed. We found found that Pat was a man of his word and committed to pleasing us with minor finishes. I would highly recommend this company. Sincerely, Ricky and Donna L Jones

Angi provided me with several contractors, I received estimates but chose Philz Landscaping (even after coming in higher) because he satisfied with his estimate and start date our fervent desire to complete the project before winter set in. Alex, Javier set the example of professionalism in setting up the area to remove fencing and gate, installed vinyl fence with double gate (assisted by Carlos), removed all debris, left my yard spotless and we are extremely satisfied with the new fence and gate. Questions we had were answered (Helena, Phil) promptly and Alex, Javier went above and beyond ensuring my wife’s concerns were taken care of; I want again to Thank the team at Philz Landscaping and recommend highly to perform your project.

Had Phil and his workers come by my house to work on the backyard in May this year. Eliminate weeds, regrade soil and replant grass seed. 158 feet worth of backyard which he estimated $1600 to do. There was a hiccup with his office and scheduling and he wasn't even aware of the set date in mid-May. He rescheduled for the week after and took off $100 for inconvenience. His crew shows up and does the job and weeks after, grass grew....but not fully in corners of the yard. I called him back, voicemail immediately. Got in touch with his office and they said they would pass the message. His response times are atrocious and I told him about the patches in the grass. He says "no problem I'll send guys to evaluate and re-seed". They show up and do the job again. By mid-July, weeds are growing in very strong and grass is dying at exceedingly high rate despite me watering. I called him back and he says "that's odd, I'll come by this afternoon or tomorrow" in September when I finally get a hold of him. He never shows up or responds to texts or further calls. The photos below are post-lawn work with visible patches and weeds. I had to spend additional monies on top soil, grass seed and water to correct the loss of 50% of the lawn!! If you want an overpriced job not done right, Phil is your guy!!

Philz Landscaping built 2 patios on my property. One is flagstone and the other is pavers with a retaining wall. Both are absolutely beautiful. Working with Phil and his team has been a great experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliability, quality, and reasonable pricing.
